Southeast Ohio Classical Academy serves grades K-7 for the 2025-2026 school year. SOCA will expand by adding one grade level annually until it reaches 12th grade. Our educators use proven teaching techniques to instill authentic knowledge and cultivate values such as moral integrity, proper conduct, respect, discipline, and a dedication to thoughtful inquiry.
SOCA is a rapidly growing school. With about 80 students enrolled when the school opened its doors on August 21st, 2024, SOCA will serve 200 students for the 2025-2026 school year. Multiple grade levels have additional sections and new classrooms for this school year.
With waiting lists filling up and the addition of 8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year, SOCA will continue to interview and hire additional classical teachers.

K-6 Classical Teachers at Southeast Ohio Classical Academy lead a self-contained classroom of ~20 students. With the exception of co-curricular periods (Art, Music, PE, and Spanish), the K-6 classroom teacher prepares and delivers instruction for all content areas. Candidates must exemplify the virtuous life, demonstrate rich content knowledge, and be articulate in both speech and writing.
